Njoro Wa Uba

Njoro gets a request from a young mother. Upon arrival at her destination, she exits and unbeknown to Njoro, leaves the baby in the car. Njoro is alerted by the next customer and he has to spend a frustrating day taking care of the infant and trying to trace its mother

Njoro’s day is off to a good start when he gives a ride to a generous client. All is well until he gets on the wrong side of county officials that see him spend a whole day in the county offices.

Njoro is in denial about his new financial status and his job as a taxi driver. His daughter, Stacy too suffers the consequences after she changes schools and is forced to fit in and make new friends.

Njoro’s double life is mirrored in the clients he carries on this episode. He gives a ride to a lady who is an investment banker by day but a high-end call girl by night and a socialite couple whose glamourous life on social media is nothing like their real life

Hell, hath no fury like a woman scorned. Njoro gets to witness this when he carries a woman on a revenge mission against her husband’s mistress. Njoro tries to dissuade her from her mission but ultimately, the customer is always right

Car-less from the altercation with a client the previous day, Njoro is forced to use Mwadime’s car at work. Only catch is the car comes with a host of problems which escalate when Njoro is caught up in traffic, on a rainy weekday and he is carrying the kids of a fussy client.

Njoro is hired by a man who suspects his wife of cheating. He pays Njoro to follow the wife throughout the day. The ensuing scuffle has Njoro and his taxi caught in the middle.

It’s a weekend, busiest day of the week, with mounting bills, Njoro has to work, But Shosho has plans, and therefore, Njoro’s daughter Stacy, needs a sitter. Njoro is forced to take her daughter along on his rides to the chagrin of his customers. He loses his cool with Stacy, until he meets a customer struggling with infertility.

Njoro’s day is off to a bad start when he gets a problematic client. His colleague at the car wash shows him a way to beat the system, all the money paid by the client goes to the Njoro, without having to pay the commission owed to the app company. In desperate need of money, Njoro is sold on the idea. The downside is, there is no way to seek recourse from the company, in case of a problem.

On one of his rides, Njoro meets a client who challenges his views that human beings are inherently selfless by putting forth the argument that human nature is fundamentally selfish and that each man exists for his own sake, and the achievement of his own happiness is his highest moral purpose. Njoro spends the rest of his day trying to prove to himself and those around him that he truly is a selfless person
